about me

Hey there, I'm Seb.

I work somewhere between data, technology, and research. This journey started back in 2019 when a fellow volunteer introduced me to Google Apps Script and the magical things it could do to my spreadsheets. I was bent on figuring out how to do this myself which led to me becoming interested in all things code, data, how to use it, and - more recently - who controls it.

Over the past few years I've worked with both small non-profits and large government agencies to process, wrangle and visualize data in a way that makes it clear to unitiated audiences. I've built internal tools, dashboards, automated processes; and I distinctly recall two separate instances of giving a presentation on file management best practices that - while semi-voluntary to attend - colleagues did appreciate. (I'm not surprised with such a page-turner topic!)

Generally, I have worked with the following technologies:

  • Python, Pandas, DuckDB, SQL, and Jupyter Notebooks
  • Nuxt, Vue, Typescript, and Tailwind
  • Salesforce, Google Workspace, and M365
